Okklania is a welcoming micronation for everyone. But what does even a micronation mean?

What is a micronation?

Official definition:
a small area or political entity that claims national sovereignty but is not recognized by other sovereign states.

What it means:
You can imagine micronation as a community. The community has it´s own flag, emblem and more things that nations have, but they are not actual nations. In most cases (including the case of Okklania), they do NOT claim sovereignty.

Is is legal?

✅Yes, Micronations are legal,
unless they declare independence from the state they are in. Okklania did not declare independence, and we are not planning to do so, so Okklania never becomes illegal.

What do we do?

A micronation may sound as an interesting thing, but what do we actually do?

Talk to other micronations and connect with people around the globe
Modify and tidy up our territory
Make our own symbols, calendar, government structure and more nation-like things.
Build a community for off-topic activities
Write our own history
Give citizens an e-mail yourname@okklania.top upon request

What can you do if you join

Maybe we do a lot, but what can you do, when you join, so you don´t just spectate?

✅Talk to other micronations and connect with people around the globe
✅Modify and tidy up our territory (before doing so, it is good if you ask the king about it)
❌Make our own symbols, calendar, government structure and more nation-like things.
✅Suggest your idea to the king for a referendum
✅engage in a community for off-topic activities
❌Write our own history
✅Do things that will be written into our history
✅Get an e-mail yourname@okklania.top upon your request

Think about joining us?

Here are few things that you should know before joining

It is called become citizen, but it does not mean, that you are a citizen of some random nation - take it more like joining club of friends. It is nothing more.
We will NEVER force you into anything. You can always leave, even without giving a reason.
When you join, we expect you to engage in the community.
We have our rules. They are referred to as a constitution and they are available on our wiki.
